An informal dinner then drinks for Bloggers (and wannabes) from Malaysia and Singapore to meet the famous Joi Ito in town for a flying visit. As a result of a newfound enthusiasm gained from this Gathering, Spyder has actually started its own Blog - Spyder.Blog which can be accessed from this site. We will probably address industry updates, crazy thoughts and wild ramblings! |

Members of the Spyder Team attended a Workshop on the "Study on Strategies to Attract ICT Investment: An International Comparison" presented by Puan Yohani Tan Sri Yusof, held at the NEAC, Putrajaya. Industry Leaders, Government Bodies and Association Heads attended the Workshop which addressed the findings of a two year study comparing foreign investment in ICT between Malaysia and Singapore. The state of the industry was also addressed with participants expressing their concerns and sharing their experiences, before enjoying a nice lunch. |

Our Managing Director, Jillian Young was Chairperson for the Corporate Image & Branding Conference held at JW Marriott, Kuala Lumpur. One of the noteworthy speakers was fellow New Zealander, Paul Moss, Network Brand Director for 8TV. He is perhaps better known as one of the judges for Malaysian Idol (or the local Simon). Jillian has been referred to as the Paul Moss of the Cyberjaya Digital Video Competition where she was a judge at the end of 2004 for Experimental and Music Categories (Student and Open). |
